Goals and Objectives:

• Expand the supply of affordable housing to support the needs of the community.
• Continue to maintain the quality of assisted housing by managing the Rowan County Housing Authority's existing Public Housing and Tenant-Based Voucher programs in an efficient and effective manner.
• Increase assisted housing choices.
• Provide an improved living environment.
• Develop, coordinate, and implement programs aimed at improving the economic self-sufficiency and asset development of residents by promoting job training and counseling programs.
• Ensure equal opportunity and affirmatively further fair housing.
• Enhance the marketability of the RCHA's public housing units.
• Develop and strengthen community partnerships to enhance housing, services and self-sufficiency opportunities.
